The Dog turns 6!

Why is six so big?  My Auggy Doggy turned six last September.  He was asked what he wanted to do for his birthday. He said no friend party, just a family party and Brooke.  His "girlfriend" of four years now.
He opened up his Mario-riffic presents and then we took the kids and their friends to Matuku's Island for a pizza party.
Six GREAT things about August are:
1.  He is so very loving.  He loves his sisters and his family and shows it. He is by far my huggiest and kissiest one.
2.  He is very determined.  Whether it's learning to tie his shoe laces, making a perfect paper airplane or figuring a song out on the piano. He will spend as long as needed to get it right.
3.  He loves school. He has loved learning, following directions, and even doing his homework.
4.  He likes to help and is a clean freak.
5.  He has a thing about pajamas.  He must be in pajamas for bed...and they have to be his.  No borrowing, no sleeping in just a T-shirt.  We've gone home from sleep overs for PJs.
 6.  He is taking well to the piano and blowing through his big sister's books.  He is adorable at lessons and his first recital is coming up.

Griffin’s already planning his 6th birthday party and it’s gonna be all Mario! Plan your summer vacation over July 10th cuz the Aug Dog is invited!

Glad you have a year to plan, cuz those Mario parties look like a lot of work, and I, I mean Aug will be there to enjoy all of your hard work.
