I just thought I'd post the 8 things I love about my Quinn who turned 8 last month, since I didn't think the last post did her 8 year old greatness justice.
1. She is a dare devil. Whether it was the slides at a year old that she loved to go down to the rock climbing adventures that she has already undertaken, to wake-boarding at Powell...this girl has no fear.
2. She is musically talented. She has almost perfect pitch, memorizes music quickly and plays the piano beautifully.
3. She pushes herself. Which I love because she's got that competitive little spirit about her that pushes her to do it better, longer, or faster!
4. She is a GIRLY girl. Dresses, pink, frills and twirls all included. AND now that Miss Fancy Pants has her ears pierced, she has a whole new obsession.
5. She loves to eat. She loves all types of foods and does not discriminate.
6. She is kind to her brother and sister and is very maternal with them.
7. She is an ANIMAL LOVER. Any opportunity she gets to spend time with animals she takes. She is especially fond of horses and has ridden many times.
8. Quinn is thoughtful and caring. She likes to make sure that others are happy and will often make notes for us or her friends or extended family. She is polite and loves to write thank you notes for things she receives.
We love our Quinner Bear and are looking forward to her baptism this summer. We will head up to Utah so that she and her cousin Gracie can be baptised together surrounded by friends and family.
